The LED lighting fixtures represent the latest discovery in lighting technology. They revolutionize the way artificial light is being produced and the quality of artificial lighting. The LEDs replace an existing system that was based on frequent human intervention for changing the light source. Various socket types have been developed to ensure a quick and easy change of the light bulb as this operation had to be made quite often. On the other hand, the LEDs have a much longer life span that goes over 10 years for house-hold lighting. This LED feature makes the use of sockets pointless. Many LED manufacturers designed so-called LED light bulbs to replace the existing light bulbs. They are meant to replace the old Edison bulb or the newer fluorescent bulbs. Unlike for the classic light bulbs, for LEDs the socket is not a solution but a complication. It is a useless inheritance that makes the product more complicated without any real benefit. Therefore we consider the LED and the socket should not coexist in one product just for the sake of habit. One other great advantage of the LED is the directionality of the light. This feature makes it ideal for desk lamps and accent lighting. The fact that LEDs work with low voltage opens new applications for safe lighting in special conditions. The lighting of rooms from the center of the ceiling is an economic solution for omnidirectional lighting sources, but is not very comfortable. During our tests we have determined that an indirect lighting of a room combined with direct lighting for some areas where there is the most of activity helps to create a well-being and relaxing state of mind. It also makes the room look better for the viewer. Considering the multitude of LED lighting advantages it is foolish to limit its potential just for the sake of habit. The beginning of 2010 means for our Company adding the street lighting to our product offer. We offer hi power LED street lighting under the brand name Ambiflux® Direct. The new product line meets the consumer demand for competitive prices and simplicity. The LED lighting on the market is a reality. Unfortunately, the market is invaded with low quality products which do not meet the clients need. Despite the low prices of these products (comparing to the technology costs), they are not helping the LED industry due to the low quality and insufficient light. We are determined to change the attitude and the consumers opinion. Therefore, all our efforts are channeled towards one major objective: the clients satisfaction. · The life span of LEDs is more than 100.000 hours. After 50.000 hours the LEDs used in Ambiflux® products have more than 70% of the initial light output. · The light quality of the LEDs is higher then most of the light sources for colour rendering. The LED light is very close to the natural light. · LEDs does not emmit invisible infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) ratiations which can deteriorate the lighted objects. That's why the heat from the conversion loses (from electricity to light) is transfered through the fixture's body. · The LEDs eficiency and durability are influenced by the performances of the electronic circuit boards for electric feeding and comand of the LEDs. · The LED is an electronic component (Light Emitting Diode). The light is produced inside of the semiconductor's crystal which is solid. There are no gases and no filament involved. · The LEDs fixtures are eco friendly because they do not contain dangerous materials like toxic substances or heavy metals. |
